    Any place that claims to be 24 hours, but in fact was closed at 11:30 pm when I got there starts off bad. I understand things come up so I parked and got out to read the note on the door. It said open at 3.
    That was the second and last time I'll waste my time here with Peterson's only five minutes away.

    Damn thing is always closed till 3! It's supposed to be 24hrs! We have been there three times and each time its closed till three!  That's not 24 hours! When I need my donuts this place let's me down.

    Mediocre customer service and a filthy customer seating area ruin what could be a decent local donut shop.  

    Lord almighty do they need to clean this place and remodel the interior.  It's nasty inside with glaze and grease all over the tables, chairs, floor, and just everything else.  I didn't even want to sit down it was so bad, so I stood outside to eat my muffin.  Do you know what bothers me the most about a dirty restaurant? ...It's wondering how clean (or not clean) the kitchen is and do I really want to be eating their food.  This place will definitely turn you off if you care about cleanliness.

    Customer service is on the slow side, but in their defense, a lot of the customers seem to take forever to pay.  Even with a couple of people in line be prepared to wait awhile.  

    As for the food, it's okay.  It looked better than it tasted.  I would put the donuts and muffins above Vons but below Costco.  The blueberry muffin was decently moist and flavorful, but the blueberries were very small and didn't appear to be fresh.  Perhaps they were frozen or rehydrated?  I'm not sure.  

    Overall I would avoid this place until they clean it up and remodel...There are certainly better options in San Marcos.

    Definitely not fresh all the time. Dozen donuts this morning and half were dry and stale. You can tell they were from a day ago.
